We offer the following Chubb locks London locksmith services:
Gain entry Open your door and get access to your home. We will usually need to drill your lock open and replace if this happened.
Replace your current Chubb lock with a new Chubb lock. You will have the same security level, with a new Chubb mechanism and set of keys.
Rekey your current Chubb lock. To cut the costs we can replace the levers inside your lock if it is in good working order. Your mechanism will stay the same, but you will have a new set of keys with a new combination. Rekeying your lock is also recommended if you want to have a few locks opened by the same key.
Upgrade your current mortice lock to a Chubb lock. Fitting a Chubb lock will increase the longevity of your home security. In this option, we will need to adjust your door and keep slightly to fit the Chubb measurements.
Install a brand new Chubb lock on your door. If you don't have any mortice type lock, and you want to add extra security, we can add you additional Chubb lock.
Chubb or mortice?
It is worthwhile noting, that as Chubb has such a good reputation many of the UK customers refers to a mortice lock as ‘Chubb’, although that many of their mortice locks are from other brands like Era, Asec, Yale, Legge, ES, Zoo etc. There is a price difference between ‘standard’ British standard 5 lever mortice locks from the brands above to the Chubb mortice. Also, Chubb has slightly different measurements from standard Mortice locks, so we will charge an additional fee to upgrade from standard mortice to Chubb. If you want to replace a Chubb or another Chubb, then there will be standard labour cost as they wouldn't need any additional adjustments.
