Do I need to have existing door bell to install the Ring doorbell?
Well, it depends on what type of Ring you choose to go for.
If you want to install Ring video doorbell or Ring video doorbell 2 you do not need existing wiring. It comes with its rechargeable battery pack. However, you can also connect to your existing electric doorbell for a live power supply.
Please note: You must fully charge your battery before booking the installation. For the Ring doorbell Pro
If you choose to install the Ring video doorbell PRO, then it does require existing doorbell and live power supply as it does not come with a rechargeable battery pack.
